Each section in the level can have its own independent visual and audio settings. Section properties are accessible from the Sections Editor panel.

Theme Selection

Each section uses a ThemeModel that defines its visual appearance:
  1. Click the Theme button to open the Theme Selector
  2. Browse available theme groups with thumbnails
  3. Select a theme group — the current mode is applied
  4. Use the Theme Mode dropdown to switch between modes (Normal, Dark, Bonus, etc.)
The theme affects:
  • Block materials and textures
  • Item and enemy appearances
  • Skybox environment
  • Lighting settings
When a theme is changed, the editor reloads all block visuals and recomputes illumination.

Music Selection

Each section can play its own background music:
  1. Click the Music button to open the Music Selector
  2. Browse available music tracks with names
  3. Select a track — it starts playing immediately
The music selection is stored per-section and saved with the level data.

Dark Mode

Toggle Dark Mode to enable a darker lighting variant of the current theme. This is useful for underground or nighttime sections. Dark mode affects:
  • Directional light intensity
  • Ambient lighting
  • Skybox brightness

Skybox Grid

Toggle Skybox Grid to show a grid overlay on the skybox. This helps with visual alignment when building large sections. The grid is only available for themes that support it (controlled by ThemeModel.HasSkyboxGrid).

Lava Pool

The Lava Pool button opens the Lava Pool Properties panel, where you configure the lava/water behavior for this section. See Lava Pool for details.

Default Values

When a new section is created:
  • Theme: Copied from the main section
  • Music: Copied from the main section
  • Dark Mode: false
  • Skybox Grid: false
  • Lava Pool: Default (disabled)
